What is Kirtan?
Kirtan is call and response chanting from India which uses ancient Sanskrit mantras to access spirit, open the heart and bring us back to our centre. It is often used as an alternative to meditation as the chanting of repeated mantra quiets the mind.Kirtan is a form of Bhakti yoga - the yoga of devotion - it is the way to experience the divine through pure spiritual love.
